The Impossible (Sebastian x Reader)

    It was done. After all those years, your mission has finally been fulfilled. You looked at the dead body in front of you. Blood covered your clothes, blood that was not your own. After all the harm this person caused to both you and your family, everything was done. You knew that this day would come. You just never imagined how or when. 

    "We should go now young mistress." A velvet voice said. You didn't have to look up to know who it was. It was the very person who saved you all those years ago. The one who helped you get this far. Your butler. Your contractor. Your demon. Your first love. Sebastian Michaelis.

    Yes, Sebastian had saved you five years ago. If it were not for him you would have met your demise. Back then when you still had your cheerful and uplifting personality you had lived with your parents and older brother in your grand manor. Your life that of a fairy tale. However, you were foolish to believe that fairy tales always had their happy endings. It was a day like any other. You and the rest of your family had just finished playing a game of croquet. It was getting late and all of you were about to retreat for the night but before you could you were all surrounded by a number of people. You were all gagged and tied up. You along with you brother were tied side by side tied down to chair. There the intruders made you watch as they killed your parents. Their yells will forever be edged inside your head. After they were killed you and your brother were then knocked out and brought to some unknown place. After days and months of hard labor and constant beatings you and your brother had had enough and tried escaping. Before you were even several yards away you were caught. They brought you back and proceeded to beat your brother to death. You watched horrified. First your parents and then your brother. They were gone and you couldn't do anything. After they were done they turned their eyes to you. You were still shocked that you were numb to the pain. At that moment you didn't care about anything. You didn't care who it was, you just wanted revenge. You wanted the person responsible for all this dead. That was the first time you heard the majestic voice of the crow demon. He saved you. You were lost in void of emptiness but he manged to find you and bring you back. He swore his loyalty to you and to stay by your side forever. How the years you spent with him changed you. After the death of your family you thought you were never going to be happy again. However, the more time you spent with Sebastian the more that thought became a lie. Sebastian made you happy. Waking up in the morning and being able to see his flawless features and ruby eyes made your heart flutter and cheeks turn a pink hue. It was stupid of you to feel these feelings, you knew that. You tried hiding these emotions you had for him deep in your heart but every time you tried he broke down your walls making those emotions resurface. No matter how much you tried your feelings for him remained and grew stronger over your years together. He was a predator and you his prey. In his eyes you were nothing more than a meal, a meal that he will soon have. Your feelings were nothing more than unrequited love. Your relationship, impossible.

    "Young mistress?" You heard Sebastian say once more seeing you had not answered before. 

    "Right." You said your voice low coming out of your thoughts. "Let's go." You turned around to leave but due to everything that happened, you stumbled. Sebastian caught you in his gentle arms before you hit the floor embracing your frame into his chest. You breathed in his sweet aroma. Oh how much you would miss it. 

    "Young mistress? Are you alright?" He asked his voice laced with concern. No doubt that concern was fake. 
    
    "I'm fine Sebastian." You said your voice firm standing up straight making the butler look at you surprised. "I'm perfectly fine." You turned to face him locking your (e/c) eyes with his beautiful red. You felt your heart race but you knew it was all coming to an end soon. This would be the last moments with him. As much as you didn't want that to be true you had to be strong and brace for the unavoidable. "We have a contract to finish." He looked down at you. You were not able to read his expression.  

    "It appears we do." He stayed silent for a moment. "I prefer to do it somewhere else if you don't mind." He said.

    "My part of the contract is fulfilled wherever or however you fulfill your end is entirely up to you." He chuckled. 

    "Of course." He picked you up his arms and walked out of the house engulfing it in flames in the process. He kept walking until the two of you reached a small meadow. It a meadow filled with (f/f) flowers everywhere. The moon shined in the night sky it's glow shining down on the two of you. Sebastian sat you down on a nearby bench. 

    "You did a lot for me over these past years Sebastian. I'm grateful." You told him truthfully. He smiled.

    "I am glad to hear that my young mistress. I was honored to be of service to you." He said going down on one knee and bowing placing his right hand over his heart.

    "Will it hurt?" You asked your voice holding a bit of fear. He looked up and smiled sadly. 

    "I'll make sure to be as gentle as I can." You nodded. He got up from the ground and you saw his eyes turn fuchsia. Those demonic eyes of his that terrified countless of people before their lives ended. You being one of them. Yes, no matter how much you didn't want to you were terrified. He removed his gloves with his teeth in his usual fashion and as he did you were able to see his fangs. His contract mark became visible and glowed and you felt the one on your left eye do the same. He walked over to you and began to gently caress your face. You looked at his face once more before closing your eyes as you felt his cool hands against your cheeks. How gentle his touch was. "It was an honor being your butler my young mistress." You felt himself getting closer and braced yourself for the immense pain. You didn't get to tell him but you would always love him. You felt his soft lips on your forehead and after a minute they were gone. Confused you opened your eyes and looked at him. There in front of you you saw Sebastian looking down at you gently. His eyes were no longer his demonic pink but rather his usual red eyes. 
    
    "S-Sebastian." You said truly lost. 

    "It's done." He said confusing you even more. 

    "W-What's done? You haven't eaten my soul yet. I-I don't understand." He said nothing and behind him you saw something. It glistened. It was a piece of glass. Your eyes widen at your reflection before jumping up from the bench and rushing toward the glass. You gently picked it up and looked at your reflection once more. Everything was the same... expect for one thing. Your contract mark on your left eye... it was gone. You looked at Sebastian again. "I don't understand. Sebastian what...?"

    "I cannot eat the soul of the soul of the one I love. If I did that than what kind of a mate would I be?" He said smiling at you gently. Now you were even more confused. 

    "Mate? What are you talking about? I do not understand anything at all!" He chuckled at your reaction. You were never one who liked being left out of the blue. You always wanted to be on top of everything and know what's going on. "It is not funny! Explain!" He took your hands in his making you blush.

    "I didn't know why but everyday I spent with you I feel such peace and serenity. Being in your presence always soothed me. Whenever someone laid eyes on you and tried to court you I felt such rage that I could not explain. Whenever you were in your darkest moments I wanted to do whatever in my power to ensure your happiness so that tears never enter those (e/c) eyes of yours. Whenever you were kidnapped or hurt I wanted no more than your protection and well being. At first I was confused as to why I would feel such things for a human but than after a while things became clear. I had fallen madly in love with you (Y/n) (L/n). When I realized this fact I tried very hard to deny it. I could not believe that a human such as yourself could make feel these emotions and I tried very hard to bury those feelings deep, but then I would see your lovely features and your beautiful rare smiles and you always lure me back in. You made me a demon of all creatures feel this emotion of love. These emotions that steamed from my own being and not that of our contract. At first I might have seen you as a meal but the more I was by your side the more that feeling subsided. It pained my heart knowing that one day I would have to devour your soul. So when your goal was fulfilled I knew what I was to do. I was to break off our contract and let you live your life with me by your side if you permit it. Then when the time is right and you are ready and willing I will turn you into a demon and spend our lives together for eternity. You made the impossible happen my young mistress. You opened the locked heart of a demon and made me fall in love with you. My dear (Y/n) how much I love you. I will love you now and through the end of time." He said cupping your face. Tears streamed down your face making him wipe them away. 

    "W-Why didn't you tell me this before?" You asked. "W-Why wait until now? Why act as if you were really going to eat my soul?"

    "I guess I wanted it to be more dramatic." He said smirking. You lowered your eyes at him.

    "Sly demon."

    "A sly demon madly in love my dear." He corrected making you smile. He stroked your face. "Our contract may have ended but I will hold true to my oath and swear my loyalty to you and be by your side forever, not as your butler but as your lover."

    "I swear the same to you." You told him holding his cheek in hand. "I love you too Sebastian." He smiled and brought you close to him. He lowered his lips to yours and kissed you passionately. The sensation was better than you ever imagined. You never thought you would be kissing Sebastian of all people. You never expected any of this to happen. It seems as though not all things were impossible.
