The day was one that all would enjoy. The sun was out shining and the blue sky had not one cloud in the sky. The weather had not been the best the past couple of days and it was a wonderful feeling to wake up with the sun seeping in through your window this morning. You admired the lovely day as you walked the crowded streets of London. People stopped and stared at you as you passed by. It would make sense, you were a young girl walking the streets unsupervised. No one of your age wondered alone without someone present with them. It was not your fault. You had lost sight of one of the butlers and could not seem to find him. Well, you suppose it was your fault, you had left his side when something had caught your sight at the store nearby. You had gone to see it and when you turned around the butler was no where to be found. You sighed. It had been a while since you have been in London and you really did not know how to navigate your way around.

You did not realize but someone had caught sight of you and was a loss for words. The way your shining (h/c) hair cascaded down your back was breathtaking. Your (e/c) eyes scanned your surroundings curiously and cautiously. You were dressed in a rather expensive dress which made him assume you were of high society. It was strange however, he knew most of the nobles in England but he never met you. Perhaps he had met your parents on business, but never had the chance to meet you.

"You know my lord, it is quite rude to stare." A velvet voice said snapping the admirer out of his trance.

"Tch. I was not staring, I was simply observing from a distance." A stubborn voice answered. The black clothed butler chuckled.

"Whatever you say my lord." Sebastian turned to look at the girl. "It appears the young lady seems to be lost." Ciel nodded.

"It appears that way doesn't it? Let's go Sebastian." Confused Sebastian watched as his young master walked on ahead in the opposite direction of the carriage. However, as he saw him walking toward the girl a sly smile made it's way on his face.

"Let's just hope we don't bump into Lady Elizabeth." The butler said chuckling.

"Excuse me." A voice said making you stop. Turning around you came face to face with a boy who looked your age. He had navy colored hair and a pair of beautiful blue eyes though you could only see one eye since the other was covered with an eyepatch. You wondered why? It must be an injury of some sort. At the thought of that you felt a wave of sadness wash over you. "I was walking by and it seems as if you are a bit lost." You giggled in embarrassment.

"Is it that obvious?" You asked making him chuckle and nod. "It's just that I haven't been in England for quite some time now. I came to visit family and while I was walking around I got distracted and happened to lose sight of my butler." Now it made sense to Ciel why he hasn't seen around. You were not from England, because if you were Ciel was positive he would have noticed you.

"I see. It can be dangerous for a young girl to be wandering the streets alone. Especially if you are a noble, which I question is true based on your clothing." You smiled and nodded.

"That's right... in a sense that is." Seeing the boy's confused look you simply laughed.

"Well, if you want you can come to my manor. From there we will be able to contact your family so they can come get you."

"How can I go with you if I don't even know you?" You asked in a playful manner. He seemed taken aback for a moment before clearing his throat.

"Of course, I apologize." Gently taking your hand in his he kissed your knuckles making you blush. "I'm Ciel Phantomhive, Earl of the Phantomhive Estate." He introduced making your eyes widen.

"You're Ciel Phantomhive? As in, The Ciel Phantomhive"

"You've heard of me?" He asked. It's no secret to many of who Ciel was but that was England. He was surprised you knew of him seeing you came from a different region.

Now knowing who he was you felt that sadness come back. From what you were told he suffered a lot in the past years and now he takes on a burden that shouldn't belong to a boy his age. Noticing he was still waiting for an answer you shook your head, a smile on your face once more.

"No. Never mind." He looked unconvinced but said nothing more on the subject.

"And would you mind telling me your name seeing as you know mine?"

"(Y/n). You can call me (Y/n)."

"(Y/n)?" You nodded. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you (Y/n)."

"So would you like to come to my manor so we can contact your family?" You thought for a second. You knew your butler was most likely running around looking for you. He must be going crazy trying to find you. You were sure he was nearby seeing as you had been separated not so long ago. So, if you stayed where you were, you were positive he would locate you in no time. Instead however, you decided it would be more fun to get the know the young earl. You smile at him and nod.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea." You told Ciel making him smile slightly.

    "Sebastian we're leaving."

"Of course my lord." Turning around you saw a tall man in black clothing, he had red eyes and silk black hair. Feeling your gaze on him Sebastian turned to look at you and when he did you felt a shiver run down your spine. He simply chuckled making you hide behind Ciel. Seeing this Ciel glared at his butler making him smirk.

Throughout the carriage ride, you and Ciel talked about many different things. You talked about his company for some time before you discussed your studies back in America. Eventually you made it to his manor and as expected it was a grand one. You liked it.

Sebastian opened the door for the two of you and soon you were greeted by his staff.

"Welcome home Young Master!" They said enthusiastically making you giggle.

"Thank you." Ciel told them. "This is Lady (Y/N). She will be our guest for today so make sure to show her the Phantomhive hospitality."

"Of course! Welcome Lady (Y/n)!" You smiled.

"Thank you everyone." You said giving a small curtsy.

"So (Y/n)." Ciel said turning his attention back to you. "Shall we go ahead, and contact your family?"

"How about we spend some time together first?" You suggested smiling.

    "But what about-"

"Do you think we can have tea in the garden? It's been a while since I've had tea from England, and I would like to drink some." Ciel was conflicted. He knew the right thing he should do is make sure you get back to your family, but he couldn't say no to that smile you had on. In the end he agreed to your proposal and ordered Sebastian to bring you both tea outside. "Wow Ciel you have a beautiful garden." You told him as you saw the different types of flowers surrounding the both of you.

"Thank you. The servants here try and make sure everything here is well and organized." Ciel admitted, though in reality the only one who actually did more good than harm was Sebastian.

"They seem like a lively bunch."

"And troublesome." Ciel said making you giggle.

"I'm sure they're not that bad. They all seem to care about you, and I can tell they respect you greatly." Ciel nods.

"So, tell me. You seemed to have known my name before? Have we met? Perhaps I've met with your parents?" You take a sip of your tea, before setting the china cup back down.

    "Something like that."

"So, why don't you tell me more about yourself?"

"How about we play a game of chess?" You asked changing the subject. "I hear you are quite the player, and I have not had a good opponent in quite some time."

    "You play?" Ciel asked surprised.

"It was a pass time of mine aboard." You answered.

"Excuse the intrusion, but I have brought some snacks." Sebastian said as he places the tray of sweets on the table.

"Place the tray down, and go bring the chess board." Ciel told the butler. You smile at him, before turning to face the black clad butler.

"Thank you Sebastian." You said politely. He scared you a bit, but you made sure not to show it. Something about the butler just wan't right.

"No thanks are needed, my lady." Sebastian said bowing his head. He met your eyes for a minute before he smiled a knowing smile. You looked at him curiously. He couldn't know... could he? He nods his head at you, as of answering your unspoken question, before leaving.

"Everything alright?" You hear Ciel ask. You turn to face him again, and nod smiling. "I know Sebastian can be strange, but he won't hurt you. Believe me when I say I have a strong leash on him." He chuckles.

"Is that so?" Even so, Sebastian still gave you a strange vibe.

A few minutes later Sebastian came back and prepared the game for both of you, before taking his leave again.

"Your move first." You nod, but before you move your piece you speak. "Let's make a deal."

"What kind of deal?" Ciel asked curiously.

"I win, we have another day out together." He chuckles.

"Fair enough. If I win, you come over to my manor again for another game." You smile, either way, whoever wins, you would both have a another day to spend together.

"Agreed." You hold your hand out. "Shake on it?" He looked confused for a second, before shaking his head in amusement. He placed his hand in yours, and shook hands.

Time later Ciel was gaping in disbelief. His expression made you giggle.

"I take it, you haven't lost in quite some time correct?"

"Ever, would be more like it." He answered still in disbelief, but nonetheless impressed. "You really are quiet good at this game."

"Thank you. Though, I admit you are quite skilled as well. It has been a while since I've met someone who could stand their own against me." You giggled. "So, I mean meaning we need to have another day out."

"That was the deal wasn't it?" Ciel said as he smiled. It was a small smile, and barely noticeable, but when he heard your laughter and your cheerful voice he could not help it.

"My lord." Sebastian said as he stood beside the two of you once more. The two of you looked up from your game to look at the butler. "You have a guest." Ciel raised an eyebrow. He was not expecting anyone today. That is unless it was Elizabeth. But, if it were her she would have barged in no questions asked.

    "Who is it?"

"Earl Gray my lord. He says it's quiet urgent." Ciel sighed. He mostly came to bring him another case from the Queen.

"Very well. I'll be there in a minute. Let him wait in the parlor." Sebastian nodded and left. Ciel turned to you. "I'm sorry (Y/n). It appears something has come up." Ciel said before getting up from his chair. He helped you up from your seat, and both of you walked inside where Sebastian was waiting by the door.

"Sebastian. Have (Y/n) tell you her family information, and call them letting them know their daughter is, before making sure she is escorted safely home."Sebastian smirked.

"Of course." Ciel turned to you and kissed your hand.

"It was a pleasure meeting you (Y/n). I'll make sure to contact you to let you know, the next time we can meet." You smiled.

"I'll be waiting for it." Ciel smiled as well, before he headed to the parlor. Once he was gone Sebastian turned to you.

"I'm sure that call to your family won't be needed?" He asked.

    "So you did know."

"I know many things my young lady. But, I do believe my lord has asked me to escort you to your family correct? So, shall we?" He asks, gesturing toward the house. You nod and follow his lead.

Outside the doors of the parlor room, you can hear Earl Gray frantically pacing, and saying incomprehensible sentences.

"He seems to be a panic state wouldn't you agree?" Sebastian chuckled, before opening the door. And of course, just like he sounded, Earl Gray was in full panic mode.

"Will you relax, and explain to me what is going on?!" Ciel exclaimed, impatiently with the Earl's behavior.

"Lord Phantomhive is right. You do not have to be so over dramatic." You said making both pairs of eyes turn to look at you.

"(Y/n). I thought you would be on your way home already." Ciel said. When Earl Gray saw you relief washed over as he quickly rushed to your side.

"Lady (Y/n) you had me worried sick! Your grandmother would have had my head if anything had happened to you!" He cried.

"I'm perfectly fine. In fact, my first day back in England has been fantastic."

"Why did you wander off by yourself?!"

"Why do you have to be a terrible escort? Grandmother Victoria should have sent Earl Phantomhive instead, he's been more capable than you." You retorted.

"Hold on a bloody minute. What is going on?" Ciel questioned.

"Can't you see young master? Lady (Y/n), is the granddaughter of the Queen." Sebastian said, enjoying his master's confused state.

    "WHAT?!" You frowned.

"I didn't want to tell you because you would have treated me differently. I wanted to have a normal day out without anyone treating me like like a royal." Ciel sighed as he put a hand to his head.

"I knew the Queen had a granddaughter, she just never told me you would be returning."

"It was last minute decision. I apologize for not telling you beforehand."

"It's alright. I completely understand your highness." You groaned.

"This is why I didn't want to tell you. Don't call me that. You can still call me (Y/n). I actually prefer that you do. Please." He saw the pleading in your eyes, and he nodded.

    "(Y/n) then." You instantly smile.

"My highness we should be going now. Your grandmother is surely going to kill me if we are any later." You sighed.

"Fine." You turn to face the young earl. "We can still have a day together right?" He chuckles.

"You won, and a deal is a deal. Let me know when you are able to, and I'll free my schedule."

"You'll receive word soon then Earl Phantomhive. Until next time." You quickly kissed his cheek, and giggled at seeing his face turn red before you ran out the door.

"This is what I put up everyday." Earl Gray sighed. "Thanks for finding her. I would be dead if anything happened to her."

"Then go and catch her before you lose her again!" Ciel exclaimed.

"I know. I know. Your highness please wait!" Earl Gray yelled as he ran out. Once he was out the door Sebastian closed it.

"Well that was an eventful day was it not?" He asked chuckling.

"You knew about (Y/n)'s identity?" Ciel asked glaring at his butler. How could he withhold such information?!

    "Of course."

"Why didn't you tell me anything?!"

    "You didn't ask."

    "Idiot."

"I'm not the one who didn't recognize the young princess." If looks could kill, Sebastian would be on his way back to hell right now.

"I'll be in my study. Don't bother me." He didn't wait for a response, and instead went to his office and sat himself down on his chair. He had the Princess of England in his own manor and he didn't know. Sebastian was right, he was an idiot. He went over the days events in his head, and soon chuckled. "Well Sebastian was right about something, it was an eventful day." And of course, there was another one to come.
So here is another Ciel one-shot! Hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what your thoughts were and remember to have a beautiful day! Love
