Time To Ourselves (Ichigo Kurosaki x Reader) RQ

    You and Ichigo sat on his couch enjoying the movie you were currently watching. He had his arm wrapped around your shoulder pulling you close to him as you laid your head against his firm chest. You snuggled close against him enjoying his company. You had rarely had time to hang out like this ever since Ichigo had gotten his soul reaper powers back. Don't get the wrong idea, you liked that Ichigo got his powers back. You knew that losing his spiritual pressure devastated him knowing he wouldn't be able to see his friends from the soul society any more. Seeing him suffer made you suffer. He acted tough but you could see through his mask. What kind of girlfriend would you be if you couldn't? Anyway, back to the point. Since Ichigo got his powers back he's been doing his job as substitute soul reaper which consisted of the constant hollow fights. You were just glad to get to spend some time like this alone and without a care in the world. At that moment Ichigo's badge starting beeping making you sigh. You spoke to soon. The two of you straighten up. 

    "You have to go?" You asked already knowing the answer. He gave you a sad smile and stroked your cheek lovingly. 

    "Yea. Sorry." He said getting up from the couch and used his badge to help get out of his body. Ichigo now stood in the middle of his living in his soul reaper attire which had changed due to his fullbring.

    "Want me to come with you?" You asked. Like Chad and Orihime you too had an ability that you used during battles. 

    "No, it's alright. I got it." He said. "You can stay and wait for me if you want." You sighed.

    "Actually I think I'm going to go home. It's getting late." You said getting up from the couch. 

    "(Y/n) I'm sorry." He said looking at your (e/c) with his warm chocolate ones apologetically.  

    "It's okay Ichigo. We'll finish the movie some other time." You kissed his cheek before heading back home. Ichigo watched you go and thought about how he would make it up to you. An idea popped into his head and smiled. He would have to make a call when he got back. He left the house in search for the hollow before he set his plan in motion.

    The next day Ichigo sat outside his porch waiting. He had been there for several minutes now and was starting to grow restless. Just when he was going to go back inside he saw two familiar people approaching. He smiled.

    "Rukia! Renji!" He said going to greet his friends. 

    "Hey Ichigo." Rukia smiled. 

    "Yo. You can't do much without our help can you Ichigo?" Renji asked laughing making the orange head glare at him. 

    "Why you...?!"

    "Quiet the both of you!" The small girl exclaimed making both boys shut up. "Anyway," She said turning to face Ichigo. "You don't have to worry we'll handle things. You just go out and spend the day with (Y/n)."

    "Yea make sure to make her happy. I'm surprised she hasn't broken up with you considering all the things she went through." Renji said making Ichigo flinch slightly at the memories. You had gone through a lot. You had been kidnapped by Aizen and brainwashed making you believe you were on the Arrcancar's side and that you were Grimmjow's girlfriend instead of his. He ended up fighting you and he didn't enjoy that one bit. Not to mention you also had your past tampered with by Tsukishima making you turn against him once more. All the enemies targeted you in order to get to him. Renji was right. He was surprised you hadn't broken up with him. "Also, if you don't make her happy I will happily snatch her away." At this Ichigo growled and grabbed the red head's collar. 

    "You try and make a move on (Y/n) and I'll kill you!"  

    "Enough!" Rukia yelled prying them off each other. "Ichigo go on your date with (Y/n). You stayed up planning it and the two of you deserve some time alone. Renji and I will deal with the hollows"

    "Yea. Thanks." Ichigo said calming down. "See you guys later." He said before quickly rushing over to your house making a quick stop at a store along the way. When he got to your house he knocked on the door and waited. A moment later the door opened revealing the (h/c) haired girl herself. Least the say she looked surprised. 

    "Ichigo. What are you doing here?" You asked. 

    "I came to take my girlfriend out on a well deserved date." He said holding a bouquet of flowers in front of you. You smiled and took the flowers. 

    "What brought this on all of a sudden?" You asked smelling the sweet aroma of the flowers. 

    "I'm making up for all the time we haven't spent together." He told you. He held one of your hands and gently squeezed it. "I love you (Y/n) and I have the whole day planned out for us. I asked Rukia and Renji to come so they can deal with hollows so we don't have to worry. So what do you say?" You giggled. 

    "Of course I'll spend the day with you. How could I pass up spending time with you?" He smiled. After putting the flowers in a vase Ichigo processed to the first thing on his list. 

1. Have a stroll in the park

    Ichigo brought you to a nearby park where the two of you had met. As the two of you walked together hand in hand you couldn't help but think back to the past. You chuckled.

    "What's so funny?" Ichigo asked you. 

    "I'm just thinking back to when we met." You told him making him laugh as well. 

    "Who would have thought we would end up dating after that incident." 

Flashback

    You were sitting under one of the many trees in the park reading a brand new book you had bought. You always enjoyed coming to the park to read. It was very soothing and it relaxed you. You were too engrossed in your book you didn't imagine was about to happen. Before you knew it something cold fell on you making you gasp. The cold liquid slid down your hair and down your face. Some of the pink liquid made it's way into your mouth and it tasted like... strawberry? You were covered in strawberry smoothie! 

    "Oh sorry." A voice said. You looked up and saw a boy around your age with a scowl on his face. The feature that stuck out the most however was his bright orange hair. 

    "Sorry?" You asked glaring at the guy in front of you. "Is that all you can say?! You got strawberry smoothie all over my hair and not to mention you ruined my book!" You yelled holding the book which was now soaked with the pink liquid. 

    "Look I said I was sorry. It's not my fault a group of kids bumped into me making my smoothie land all over you." The orange said simply. 

    "You inconsiderate jerk!"

    "I'll buy you a new book alright?"

    "No you can't! This book was signed by the author herself! It's an original!"

    "I don't get why you're making such a great deal it's just a book."

    "Didn't you hear what I just said?!" He sighed. 

    "Do you have to yell? You're blowing out my ear drums."

    "I wouldn't be yelling if you hadn't ruined my book!"

    "You should be more worried about you hair. It's a mess."

    "And whose fault is that?!"

    "I said I was sorry!"

    "Tell that to my book!"

    "Spoiler alert, the main character dies in the end!" He exclaimed getting fed up with all this. You growled.

    "Why you!" The two of you glared at each other before a brown haired boy came running the two of you.

    "ICHIGOOOOOOO!" He yelled as he ran toward the orange head. 

    "So your name is Ichigo huh?" You said finally knowing the name of the guy who had ruined your day. 

    "U-uh did I come at the wrong time?" Keigo asked backing away feeling the tension between his friend and yourself. The dark aura made him shiver a bit in fear.

    "Not at all let's go." Ichigo said before walking away. 

    "Where do you think you're going?!" You yelled after him.

    "Away from you." He said not bothering to turn around.

    "(Y/n)! You better remember that name Ichigo because I'm going to get you back for this!" Kegio gave you one last look before following after Ichigo. 

    "I'll like to see you try." You glared at his retreating figure. 

    "Oh I'll show you." You muttered before going back home. 

End flashback

    "Ah good times." You said sighing happily at the memory. "And I got you back good. Remember how I-"

    "Okay. Okay. I remember. You don't have to bring it up." Ichigo said cutting you off his face red in embarrassment. You chuckled. The two of you continued to walk across the park and Ichigo had bought the two you ice-cream. He got strawberry and you got (f/f) ice-cream. The two of you would share with each other. You would give him a bit of yours and he would give you a bit of his. After the nice walk across the park Ichigo proceeded to lead you to the next activity on his list.  

2. Go to the new amusement park

    "Uh Ichigo I don't think this is such a good idea." You said seeing the roller-coaster you were about to ride.

    "Come on it'll be fun." Ichigo told you smiling pulling you by your hand toward the cart.    

    "W-Wait a minute!" Your protests however were in vain as he sat the both of you down on one of the roller-coaster carts pulling the handle bar on. "If I die I'm coming back to kill you." You said making him chuckle.
    
    "You won't die. I'll be here the whole time." He assured you holding your hand. Soon the cart began moving. "Here we go." Ichigo said excitedly. The cart began going upward. You looked over to the side and regretted it the minute you did. You were so high up! Once you made it up the hill it stopped for a second.

    "Goodbye world." You said before the cart quickly made it way downward making your (h/c) hair fly all the over the place. You and Ichigo both screamed. Both for different reasons. You screamed out in fear and he screamed out in excitement.

    "Wohooooooo!"

    "Ahhhhhhhhh!" Without thinking you latched yourself on to Ichigo with all your might making the substitute soul reaper smile gently at you and wrapping his arm around your waist pulling you closer. After the ride the both of you got your picture and you blushed in embarrassment. In the picture it showed you clinging to Ichigo with all your might your face of absolute terror as where Ichigo was shown with his arm around you a wide smile on his face clearly enjoying the ride.

    "Now that is a nice picture." Ichigo said making you blush even more. "I'm going to have to frame it." He teased.

    "Don't you dare!" You said slapping him playfully on the chest. He simply chuckled putting the picture safely away.

    "Come on let's go." He said gently pulling you to a nearby booth.

    "Welcome! How about you try to win a nice prize for your girlfriend young man." The man at the booth said smiling at the two of you.

    "I was planning on doing just that." Ichigo said smiling at you making you blush slightly. The man gave Ichigo a tennis ball.

    "Alright. The rules are fairly simple. All you have to do is knock down all of those bottles down."

    "Sounds easy enough." Ichigo studied the bottles and their position and when he was certain he threw the tennis ball and sure enough knocked down all the bottles. He then turned to you. "So (Y/n) pick whatever you want." You looked at the prizes and studied them carefully.

    "Can I have that one please?" You asked the man. He went and brought it and handed it to you.

    "Here you go young lady." He said smiling. You thanked him and hugged your prize close to you.

    "(Y/n) are you serious?" Ichigo asked you looking at your prize. You smiled and hugged it closer.

    "Yes." You told him. "It reminds me so much of you. Plus it's really cute." In your arms was no other than a giant strawberry plushy with a closed eye smile. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around your shoulders and led you to the cotton candy stand. He bought for the two of you and like with the ice-cream the two of you took time feeding each other before going on several more rides.

3. Go to (Y/n)'s favorite place

    This place opened a few weeks ago and you loved it. You would often come with Orihime and Rukia. It wasn't really his thing but he did want to make you happy and when you arrived he was greeted with just that. Your smile widen and your eyes sparkled.

    "Ichigo I love you!" You said kissing his cheek before dragging him inside. "Come on come on come on." You said. Your favorite hangout was no other than a karaoke. The two of you put your stuff down before you brought Ichigo up to the small stage.

    "Which song are we going to sing?" Ichigo asked. You smiled.

    "You'll see." He was about to ask again but then the familiar song began playing and he smiled at you. You handed him a pic and got one for yourself. The song was the one he had dedicated to you for your one year anniversary.

"High dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life" You began singing. Ichigo smiled before he began singing as well.

    The people were there listening clapped. You and Ichigo shared a smile. The song represented the two of you perfectly. At first you and Ichigo hated each other and thought you didn't need the other. However, even though you both denied needing each other the both of you felt such comfort being with each other. The two of you thought it was insane when the two of you realized you had feelings for each other but yet here the two of you were, and neither one of you regretted it. 

    By the time you and Ichigo left the karaoke club it was already dark. The sky was lit up by the shine of the moon and the sparkle of the stars. The two of you went back to his house and up to his roof. There the two laid down and looked up at the stars trying to find the constellations or other shapes. After a long day relaxing like this was what the both of you needed.

    "Thank you for today Ichigo." You told him snuggling against him. "I had a lot of fun." He kissed your hair and held your hand.

    "I did to. We haven't had a date like this for a while. I almost forgot how nice it was."

    "We should do this again someday."

    "I'll make sure we do. You're to great a girl and deserve the best." You smiled.

    "I really am lucky to have you Ichigo." He smiled and stared at your (e/c) orbs lovingly before bringing his lips gently to yours. Having some time to yourselves was the best thing you could ask for.


~Bonus Ending~

    "Why do you have to be so cute?" You asked making the orange head blush.

    "I-I well umm..."

    "I swear it should be a crime to be this cute."

    "U-Uh well it's not my fault I'm... cute." Ichigo said his blush becoming worse. 

    "Oh well, I still love you my Strawberry!" You said hugging him tight.

    "I love you t-." Ichigo stopped. He saw the scene in front of him and gaped. You were hugging the strawberry he had won for you at the amusement park! So all this time you were talking about the plushy?! "(Y/N)!" Ichigo exclaimed.

    "Huh?" You asked looking up from Strawberry and at Ichigo. You looked at the furious face of your boyrfriend and down at the Strawberry in your arms. "I-It's not what it looks like!" You said putting your strawberry down.

    "You're starting to love that plushy more than me!"

    "No I'm not!" You quickly defended.

    "(Y/n)-" Before he could say anything else you gave him a quick kiss and hugged him.

    "You are always going to be my favorite Strawberry Ichigo. There is no need to be jealous of a plush toy." Ichigo blushed and hugged you back.

    "I was not jealous of a plush toy." He mumbled making you laugh.

    "Of course you weren't sweetie." As the two of you continued to hug Ichigo glared daggers at the Strawberry plushy that was sitting on the bed. It was war.
